A subathon timer for Twitch and Kick. It counts down, and every sub, gifted sub, Bits cheer or Kicks gift adds time. Show it as a game-style health bar that drains toward zero, a big clock or a ring, and you decide how much time each one adds.

Chat Commands

You and your mods control the timer from Twitch or Kick chat.

!subathon start
Starts or resumes the timer; once it has run out, starts a new one
!subathon pause
Pauses it
!subathon add 10m
Adds time
!subathon remove 5m
Takes time away
!subathon set 2h
Sets the time left
!subathon reset
Starts over from the starting time and the values in the URL
!subathon sub 2m22s
Makes each sub add 2 min 22 sec from now on, Tier 2 and 3 subs 2 and 5 times that; 0 turns it off
!subathon sub 2m22s for 1h
The same for an hour, then back to the value in the URL
!subathon gift 142s
Each gifted sub adds 2 min 22 sec, so a gift of 5 adds 11:50
!subathon bits 142s
Every 500 Bits or 500 Kicks add 2 min 22 sec, other amounts their share; !subathon kicks is the same
!subathon rates reset
Goes back to the values in the URL
!subathon pops off
Hides the added time; pops on shows it again
!subathon seconds
Writes added time in seconds, like +71 sec; !subathon minutes goes back to +1:11

Any amount works, like 57m, 2h15m, 45s or 1:30:00. A plain number means minutes, so 142 seconds is 142s, 2m22s or 2:22. An event adds at most 1 hour, so !subathon gift 142 (142 minutes) is ignored.

Streaming Software Setup (OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit, etc.)

  1. Add a Browser Source in your streaming software (OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, XSplit, vMix, Lightstream, PRISM Live Studio, etc.).
  2. Paste your copied subathon timer URL.
  3. Set width to 800 and height to 300.
  4. When you go live, type !subathon start in chat. Mods can add, remove or pause time too.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if OBS closes or the browser source reloads?

The timer is saved inside OBS, so it comes back where it was. While OBS is closed it keeps counting down, like a real deadline. Subs that come in while it's closed can't be seen, so a mod can add them with !subathon add.

What happens when the timer reaches zero?

The timer stops at zero and the health bar shows K.O., unless Show K.O. is off. New subs no longer add time. A mod can bring it back with !subathon add or !subathon set, or start a new one right away with !subathon start.

How do I start a new subathon or change the starting time?

Type !subathon reset in chat. The timer goes back to the starting time in its URL. Until the timer has started for the first time, a new starting time in the URL applies on its own.

Do I need to log in or connect my account?

No. The timer reads subs, gifts, Bits, Kicks and mod commands from your public Twitch and Kick chat, the way a logged-out viewer sees them.

Do Twitch Prime subs add time?

Yes. A Prime sub counts as a Tier 1 sub and adds the Per Sub time. On Twitch a resub, Prime or paid, counts when the viewer shares it in chat.
